I wish I could make that?
WELL - This is the week you will!
For five days, I'll walk you through my entire process step by step, side by side. We'll start with a pencil and paper and by Friday you'll have a finished pattern living on an actual product.

You're in the right place if...
✓ You have a sketchbook begging to be used
✓ You doodle in the margins and wonder if there's something more there
✓ You see patterns on tea towels and pillows and think "I wish I could make that"
✓ You want something that's just for you - not a course, not a big commitment, just five joyful days of me time
✓ You're not sure you're "artistic enough" but you're curious enough to try
YES? YAY! You're in good company.
Still not sure if this is for you?
That’s the whole point! :)
Pattern Week was designed for that in-between feeling… the “I think I’m ready, but I’m not totally sure what this will look like” moment.
This week is about showing up, even if you're unsure, even if you've been pushing creativity to tomorrow, even if your sketchbook has been sitting there a little too quietly.
Here’s what’s packed into Pattern Week:
This week will help you:
› Experience a full month of Pattern Play in five days
› Fill your sketchbook with guided, fun art making
› Turn your hand-drawn doodles into a seamless repeat pattern in Illustrator
› See your finished design on a real product (!!)
› Build creative momentum with fun creative practices that fit your life
› Connect with a joyful community of makers and fellow creatives
› End the week with something you made, something you're proud of, something that now exists in the world
Why only $10?
Because I want nothing standing between you and getting starting. I could charge ten times this and the experience would be worth it. But $10 removes every excuse. The only thing left is a yes!
Bonuses up for grabs:
› $10 credit toward your Pattern Play membership (if you decide to join us!)
› Daily giveaways + $100 gift cards to our product shop, Flowerie
› Print edition of Pattern Magazine
› A chance to win a product made from OUR pattern, mailed to your door with a handwritten note from me.
PLUS, a chance to win the $1,500 in cash prizes!
It's gonna be FUN. 😆
Hi, I'm Bonnie Christine.
I've taught surface pattern design to over 200,000 students in 100+ countries. My patterns are licensed around the world and my magazine is available nationwide at Barnes & Noble.
But here's what I want you to know: when I started, I was in a rented apartment with no studio, no art degree, and genuinely no idea if I was good enough. I spent eleven months teaching myself Illustrator alone before I made a single thing I was proud of.
I built Pattern Week because I want you to have what I didn't have - a fun place to begin, someone right beside you, and a finish line that's easy to cross at the end of every single day.
If I can do it, so can you. There's room for you. Always.
"I just ordered swatches of my first patterns that I put on Spoonflower! I am beyond excited. I can't wait to hold them in my hands!" - Jenna
"I never thought I could be called an artist but this training helped me crash through that barrier and recognize that my doodles could open a door I thought I would never open." - Andrea
"I have been a surface designer this entire time. I was just looking at it wrong." - Rebecca
"I've been using Illustrator for 11 years and never knew that's what I was missing for repeating patterns!" - Amber
"The tears running down my face are purely because this is what I am meant to be doing."
- Jaclyn C.
