My designs blend hand-drawn detail with modern storytelling—poetic, nature-inspired work that invites beauty, meaning, and a return to slow, intentional living.

 

Alongside my work as an artist, I lead a multifaceted brand rooted in education, inspiration, and collaboration. Through a warm, approachable teaching style, I guide students step-by-step through the process of surface pattern design, blending technical skill with personal growth. My passion is to empower creatives with the tools, encouragement, and belief that with dedication and heart, they can turn their dreams into reality. I’m grateful to have taught more than 190,000 students, grown an engaged community of over 225,000 email subscribers, and reached more than 1 million annual podcast listeners through The Professional Creative.

 

I’m also the founder of Flowerie, a lifestyle product line, and Pattern Magazine, a publication celebrating the magic of surface design and artists everywhere.
