Recognized as a leading voice in surface pattern design, I've redefined what it means to be a creative entrepreneur. As the founder of a multi-million dollar education company, I’ve had the honor of teaching over 190,000 students, growing a community of 225,000+ subscribers, and reaching over 1 million annual podcast listeners each year through The Professional Creative.

I am an award-winning educator and designer known for blending creativity with approachable, heart-led business strategy. My signature course, Surface Pattern Design Immersion, has become a staple in the industry, influencing and shaping the careers of countless designers. Along the way, I’ve launched Pattern+, a monthly mentorship for surface designers, as well as Pattern Magazine, a print publication celebrating the business of creativity. I built Surface Design Live, an annual conference with some of the brightest minds in the industry, and Flowerie, a lifestyle product line designed to bring beauty to the everyday.

I live in the mountains of North Carolina with my high school sweetheart, David, and our two beautiful children. I'm passionate about the balance between a thriving professional life and a fulfilling personal life. Family, artistry, and freedom are at the heart of my life, and they’re at the heart of this mastermind, too.
